The board also approved the hiring of a director of teaching and learning for the district. The retirements of Clinton High School Principal Jerry Wayne and Assistant Principal Bob Svencner, effective at the close of the 2026-27 school year, were accepted by the board.
“We’re looking forward to her (Patrick) bringing her expertise and experience and determination and everything that personifies a future administrator,” said Nettles. Patrick replaces Beth Wickenhauser who will retire at the close of the current school year.
